In the clip, you can see the electric powered wheelchair that has been modded to achieve speeds of up to 100 km/h (65 mph).
The video shows a man, who has not been identified, testing out his invention on the road, zooming around at pace.
The scooter makes light work of dodging in and out of traffic, before speeding off in to the distance.
He also shows off the handling, pulling doughnut moves and skidding around a concrete structure, almost losing control at one point.
The video was uploaded to YouTube last Thursday by channel Cangooify and opinions are split. Some love it, whereas some feel it is just plain stupid.
One comment read: “That is honestly the best video I’ve ever seen on YouTube! keep it up man you do some pretty wicked stuff!”
“Coolest thing that i have ever seen,” another added.

Whereas other disagreed, stating: “That looks way to dangerous.”
“You got a death wish or something? In the first shot i see that thing shaking on a regular flat road. One bump and you’re off to the asphalt,” a concerned user exclaimed.
The free rider mobility scooter usually has a top speed of 8mph and is a renowned device for elderly or disabled people.
