The actress sadly passed away last Christmas, but had completed filming on Star Wars The Last Jedi.
Now as the film is released, her co-stars have spoken out on her last performance as Leia.
At the UK press conference, Luke star Hamill said: “She’s absolutely wonderful in the movie.
“She’s not sort of the wise-cracking, adorable, pint-size princess that she was. She’s been through such heartache.”
According ABC7, director Rian Johnson said: “She gives a really beautiful performance in this movie, and we finished shooting when she passed.
“So we have a really beautiful, complete performance from her. It’s very emotional watching it.”
Meanwhile Rey actress Daisy Ridley said: “It’s really moving. It will for sure be a series of moments.”
Finn star John Boyega added: “Those moments have heart. And for me to articulate it a bit further, I think it’s best for you to experience. But there’s heart in all of it.”
While Poe actor Oscar Isaac said: “It’s a performance that’s filled with such grace and beauty and depth.
“So beautiful and compassionate and I think it’ll be a really wonderful experience for people to see that.”
